Air Jordan 60 Plus - Oak Hill Academy
Oak Hill Academy has produced players like Carmelo Anthony, Josh Smith, Rajon Rondo and plenty of other current NBA players so it is no surprise to see their squad getting the special treatment. The Air Jordan 60 Plus appeared on the feet of some of the Warriors at the 2009 ESPN Rise National High School Invitational against St. Benedict’s. The sneakers are made up of the teams colors of red, white, yellow and black. Design wise, the sneakers commemorates the games in which Michael Jordan scored over 60 plus points and are reported to take features from past Air Jordans. Alongside this sneaker, is a 60 Plus package including the Air Jordan I (1) and Air Jordan VII (7). Stay posted for more info as news breaks.
Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid - Black
Elements from each of Nike’s classic mid-90s Air Tech Challenge line have been tastefully combined to create the ATC Hybrid. The white-based version of the tennis fusion scored big at retailers earlier this year, and I’m certain that this resonant “Black” variation will meet the same fate. The reissue features a black toebox and lilac outsole, but the splatter motif and tribal patterning on the upper bring the shoe together. Expect to see the Nike Air Tech Challenge Hybrid “Black” hit retailers early this Summer.
Nike Air Force 1 - Air Jordan XIII (13) Inspired
Inspired by the reflective material offered on the original Air Jordan XIII (13) this latest Nike Air Force 1 (One) utilizes 3M material on its toebox and side panels. The AF1’s predominantly black upper is offset by varsity red laces and white midsole. Japanese retailer LTD is carrying these now, and you can expect them to hit America in the coming weeks.
Nike Air Force 1 Supreme Max Air - LeBron James
Yet another shoe by Nike has been conjured up to commemorate the young NBA star LeBron James. This time, it’s in the form of the Nike Air Force 1 Supreme Max Air in neutral grey/team red/white. Right off the back you can see the perforated diamond pattern on the white leather upper. The white upper and translucent white midsole which holds the Air Max cushioning is contrasted by the team red or Cavalier red tongue, shoe laces, and inner lining. The tongue uses a soft satin-like material to create the luxurious LeBron look which is comparable to his luxurious style. To finish it off, the shoe uses a classy gum sole to complete another LeBron concoction that is available now for about $200.
Air Jordan I (1) Icy Pack (GS)
With the abundance of Air Jordan 1 (I) releases for men lately, we are now seeing evidence that the folks over at Jordan Brand are not forgetting their younger sneakerhead crowd. We recently showcased the
Air Jordan I (1) GS - Icy Pack which hosted a pink patent leather upper with white accents, and we are now getting a first look at a white/yellow Air Jordan 1 Low GS that is also set to drop in the Icy Pack. This pair features quite a simple colorway of a white upper with yellow accents. As previously mentioned both sneakers are set to drop in Jordan Brand’s upcoming Icy Pack which will only be available in gradeschool sizes.
Nike Zoom Soldier III (3) Dunkman - Releasing Tomorrow
The Nike Zoom Soldier III (3) Dunkman is scheduled to be releasing at the House of Hoops in Chicago and New York. The Dunkman Edition consists of the typical pairing of grey with green, but this time around it is the original gun metal grey and an application of reflective 3M material that is hard to miss when light hits it. Other changes this Dunkman model is going through is the switching of the Dunkman logo and L23 logo. The Dunkman logo is now placed on the strap, while the L23 logo is seen on the swoosh. The Zoom Solider III (3) will release as a quickstrike so quantity will be limited, pick your pair up tomorrow at the House of Hoops.
Air Jordan I (1) ‘09 Preview
Jordan Brand has given a preview of some of the shoes that it has coming out for 2009. During a private preview Jordan Brand showed a slew of unique Air Jordan 1s in both high top and low top form.
The high top Air Jordan I (1) shown are two versions. The first is an all black version made of leather with red laces, sole, and a large red Nike Swoosh, which seems to be made out of a felt material giving it a fuzzy look. The shoe has yellow stitching that really complements the black and red and brings the shoe together yet still keeps it looking fresh. The next AJ1 is also the high top form, but reverts back to more conservative colors, which are gray and black. The shoe is an equal combination of black and gray, but the gray is more creased giving it that worn-in/retro look.
The low top AJ1s shown are two versions all of which have polka dots. The first is predominately black with yellow polka dots, while the second one is predominately white with green polka dots. So if your looking to get your polka dots on this year then Jordan Brand has you covered. Be on the look out for these to drop soon.
Nike Air Yeezy - Black / Grey - Red
Nike Air Yeezy fans lined up and waited to get their hands of the first release last weekend. The second Air Yeezy is scheduled for next month, but another colorway has just been photographed at TPE 6453, a gallery in Taipei, Taiwan. This appears to be one of the first Yeezys to hit the net and features a combination of black, grey and red. The upper is outfitted with black while the strap consists of patent leather and the toe is made up of grey. The midsole is pictured with red, perhaps fire red in reference to the Air Jordan III (3). After the jump, a picture of the inside of the sneaker reveals a silver inner lining, a nice touch to Air Yeezy. Other Air Yeezys were showcased at TPE 6453 including the most recent and upcoming models.
Nike Vandal High Supreme EX - White / Silver
We previewed the Nike Vandal High Supreme - White/Silver not too long ago, and we are now receiving word that the sneaker is now available for purchase at select Nike retailers. After taking a quick glance at this Nike Vandal High, one can easily deduce what the inspiration behind this pair is. If you still have not figured it out yet, this Vandal draws inspiration from the punk rock music scene. Featuring a white studded leather upper with metallic silver accents seen on the midsole, tongue, and studs on the strap, this pair is definitely not fitting for everyone’s taste. If you’re digging the punk rock look, you’ll be happy to know that the Nike Vandal High Supreme EX - White / Silver is now available overseas, and should be hitting the states soon.
