'Glen Quagmire’ Nike SB Dunk Hi - Detailed Pics

Next month the Glen Quagmire Nike SB Dunk High will officially hit select Nike SB retailers. The SB Dunks inspired by the deviant Family Guy character feature an upper constructed of blue nubuck and blue canvas to represent Quagmires jeans, and red nubuck with gold stars to represent Glens button up shirt. Furthermore theres yellow stitching used on the mid-sole wiyh white contrast stitching is used on the blue nubuck Nike Swoosh.

The Glen Quagmire Nike SB Dunks will be a Quickstrike which you will only find at select Nike SB retailers in March. Follow the jump for more detailed photos.

Air Jordan 2009 - Ray Allen PE - 2009 NBA All Star Game

This is the last and finally Player Exclusive Air Jordan 2009 which will be worn during the 2009 NBA All Star Game. After already viewing the Air Jordan 2009 - Joe Johnson PE and the Air Jordan 2009 - Chris Paul PE we present to you the pair for Ray Allen. Since Ray Allen will also be playing for the Eastern Conference during the All Star Game he has his Air Jordan 2009 done in a white/blue colorway just like Joe Johnsons pair. However, theres a lot more blue in this pair for Ray Allen with a large portion of the upper having more dark blue and more baby blue.

Just like the other two Air Jordan 2009 Player Exclusives we showed you for the 2009 NBA All Star Game these will not be available to the public and will only be laced up by Ray Allen himself. Follow the jump for another shot.

Nike ‘Basket Weave’ SB Dunk Customs

Brad Douglas has been putting a lot of time in front of the sewing machine lately, knocking out custom sneaker after custom sneaker. Not all that long ago we took a look at the Grip Tape Nike SB Dunks which Brad designed and already he presents us with another creation, the Basket Weave Nike SB Dunk.

Brad doesnt just paint sneakers, he usually recreates every panel using the materials of his choice. For the Basket Weave Nike SB Dunks he added purple distressed leather on the frontal, lace panels, heel panel and strap while he stitched up brown basket weave leather on the tongue, toe-box, mid-panel and around the ankle. Brown stitching was used throughout the panels of the upper, with purple stitching on the mid-sole. A touch of suede was also added into the design with a black suede Nike Swoosh and the tongues are stuffed a 1/2″ with foam.

From what we have seen so far from Brad his stitching is on point and very detailed, the edges are always crisp and the designs are defiantly smooth. Nike Air Penny II (Detailed Look)

A couple of days ago we informed you of early Nike Air Penny II sightings at stores like Proper; however, The Nike Air Penny II makes its official comeback to public stores Saturday, September 27th, 2008. As a reminder, we bring you the most in-depth look to date of these classic basketball kicks. I don’t know if you’d want to play in these sneakers after viewing the pics (don’t scuff them up!).

Even though Penny’s best years are far behind, our few good memories of him throwing lobs to Shaq still live through these shoes. The Air Penny II will retail for $140. Make sure you add this to your collection! Is this a top 10 shoe of all time? Maybe even top 5? You be the judge.

With the recent return of the Penny II, it’s no surprise that the Nike Air Penny III Black/Royal would surface as well. We saw the White/Royal version a few months back, and now we have some nice shots of the Black/Royal colorway for you.

The Air Penny III was the 3rd signature shoe for Penny, though most remember him wearing the Foamposites, due to the fact he spent a lot of time on the bench with a knee injury when these shoes were originally released. Penny is #2 on our Top Ten List. Is this the sneaker that got him there?

Nike Air Penny 3 White/Royal

With all the hype around the Eggplant Foamposites (btw - We’re giving a pair away HERE) and the upcoming hybrid Penny, the Nike Air 1/2 Cent, one other release in the Penny line up has remained fairly low key.

The Nike Air Penny 3 White/Royal colorway is set to drop next month. Though Penny didn’t see much on court time due to injury, the Penny 3 is definitely a classic. This colorway is equally impressive. At a price of $155, they’ll even save you some compared to other Penny drops.

2009 NBA All-Star Game Nike Basketball Shoes

Nike Basketball is making a big appearance in the 2009 NBA All Star Game. For the weekend, Nike Basketball has created special editions of their best for the best in the game. Color blocking was chosen to sync with the East and West uniforms, but the shoes feature a variety of tributes to the host city of Phoenix. The “land of the rising sun” inspires the fading gradient pattern on the upper of each shoe along with Native American inspired font and artwork on Amar’e Stoudemire’s Foamposite Lites.
