Sakura translates to cherry tree from Japanese to English and is the equivalent to the Japanese flowering cherry and their blossoms are called cherry blossoms. Nike has implemented the “Sakura” design for quite sometime now when they released the Ueno Air Force 1 and the Ueno Court Force High years ago. The Air Force 1 will be receiving the Sakura design once again when it hit retailers in two colorways, white/metallic silver and white/orange. Each Air Force 1 features the floral and cherry blosom print throughout the sneaker centered more on the back heel and mid-section. Both will be available later this year.

Mar 30 · Kozyndan x Puma El Rey - Rabbit-Montster Attack

We’ve seen a swell in sneaker art lately, so how about some art on sneakers?  American illustrators Kozyndan got back up with Puma to lay some drawings atop two pairs of Puma El Reys.  The results are quite impressive.  Knd’s quirky style appears in a black and white pair depicting an eight-legged rabbit-monster on the rampage while the colourful pair features the same creature wreaking havoc on a city that looks something like London.  What they’re actually trying to get across here is a mystery, and that’s why we love art in the first place.  Take a look at the pics after the jump so you can decide for yourself, and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these crazy kicks.  via Kenlu
