A Bathing Ape Roadsta - May 2009 Collection

A Bathing Ape Roadsta - May 2009 Collection

One of A Bathing Ape’s most defining aspects is their use of vivid and bright colors to make their sneaker models stand out from the crowd. For their May 2009 collection, the folks over at Bapehave decked out the Roadsta model in four new colorways. Each style features bright colors and patent leathers such as the pair pictured here that utilizes a green base with yellow, teal, and white accents to create a fresh new look. The rest of the May 2009 Roadsta lineup can be seen after the jump, and it consists of a purple pair, a white/purple/black pair, and a white/blue/black/red pair. The A Bathing Ape Roadsta May 2009 Collection is now avilable at select Bape retailers.

Nike Air Flight Condor - White / Black - Cement

Nike Air Flight Condor - White / Black - Cement

Having a very classic feel, the Nike Air Flight Condor gets done up in a nice cement colorway. The midsole is very reminiscent of the Air Jordan IV (4), and looks great with a cement and black midsole. The upper is completely leather, while the swoosh is patent leather. To finish off these sneakers, the “Air Flight” and “Nike” logos are in red on the tongue and the heel, respectively. Be sure to keep these in mind for a great shoe with a retro feel.

Air Jordan XI (11) Low FTSS Sample - White / Columbia Blue

Air Jordan XI (11) Low FTSS Sample - White / Columbia Blue

I already know what you’re thinking. These Air Jordan XI (11) Samples look just like the retro releases from 2001. That’s where you’re wrong. The colorway may be exactly the same, but there’s one huge difference…on these samples, there’s a translucent Jordan logo on the tongue. The retros have a plain tongue, and the samples look so much better because of the logo. Any collector would be happy to have these, especially in this pristine condition (peep the icy soles).

Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) Low Sample - Varsity Crimson / White / Midnight Navy

Nike Zoom LeBron 6 Low Sample - Varsity Crimson / White / Midnight Navy

The last Nike Zoom LeBron VI (6) Low that we saw was a simple colorway; this time around, Nikehas given the Cleveland Cav’s captain’ s sig shoe some flavor with the Nike Zoom LeBron VI Low sample in varsity crimson/white/midnight navy. The shoe features a varsity crimson red upper and toebox made of woven material and a nubuck swoosh that matches the back heel panel, ankle panel, and shoelace area. The upper is contrasted by a red snakeskin toe area, navy laces, white midsole, and navy sole. And of course the low’s use single stitching in the midsole. So if you’re a fan of these ZLVI’s, then pray that these get released.

The newest sneaker in the Air Jordan Force line comes in the form of a mixture between the Air Force 1 and the Air Jordan IX (9). While all other colorways of this shoe have been a hightop, just like the normal Air Jordan IX (9) model, these are the first to come in a lowtop version. In the classic black, varsity red, and white colorway, these sneakers have a little added flavor with the addition of a speckled panel on the upper.

Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) - Early Sample

Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) - Early Sample

Pictures of the Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) in its first stage were reported at the end of last month. With a new sneaker to come, we look back at another popular sneaker in its early development, the Zoom Lebron VI (6). Some of the noticeable differences between this pair and the actual Zoom Lebron VI are the size of the swoosh and the length of the carbon fiber. One other change includes a different color blocking of white, black and varsity red. The sneakers sport a white base with a black toe box, midsole and swoosh. Red is the final piece of the ZLVI and appears on the stitching, sole and on the tongue. Do you prefer the look of the new or old Zoom Lebron VI?
