Nike Air 1/2 (Half) Cent

You didnt think Nike would only create one colorway of the Nike Air 1/2 (Half) Cent did you? Come on now, it wouldnt be right unless Nike did atleast two versions, if not more. The second colorway which will hit retailers later this year follows the tune of the Nike Air Penny II (2) - Triple Black. Besides for very minor hits of grey such as on the Nike Swoosh, laces and heel the whole sneaker is finished with a 100% black design.

No info is being announced just yet on a release date so sit tight for further details and make sure you pick up the Black/Blue Nike Air 1/2 (Half) Cent when it drops on March 7th. Follow the jump for a few more pictures.

Nike ‘Boba Fett’ Zoom Force 1 Snowboard Boot Customs

EmmanueLabor who is a beast in the custom sneaker industry was recently asked to design a pair of the Nike Zoom Force 1 Snowboard Boots to be put on display at the ESPN Winter X-Games. When EmmanueLabor was pinned for the project he had already put together an idea in his head for the Zoom Force 1 custom, but when he got the boots in the mail he had found out his idea wasnt going to work out as planned. The original idea was designed for the white or black/white version but instead EmmanueLabor was sent the dark army/gold colorway.

Being pressed for time and having to pretty much start from scratch at this point EmmanueLabor started in with a whole new theme. The inspiration used to design the large Nike Zoom 1 Snowboard Boots comes from Boba Fett, the bounty hunter from the Star Wars series. The boots feature a green, gold, yellow and grey colorway with a design over the tongue/laces which is suppose to look like Boba Fetts helmet with the red part of it serving as a lace protector as well. On the right side of Boba Fetts uniform there is round logo on his chest so therefore EmmanueLabor included the logo on the right shoe. On the left side of his uniform, on his shoulder, there is another logo so that was included on the left shoe, along with yellow bars on the green strap to represent the side of Boba Fetts helmet.

EmmanueLabor admits the design didnt really turn out as he has planned due to the fact he had to change his theme at the last minute and rush the idea due to a limit in time. He also says he personally doesnt like the final product but here at Sneaker Obsession we sure think its cool, specially since its a Nike Zoom Force 1 Snowboard Boot which is something you dont see customized all that much. Good work EmmanueLabor!

Follow the jump for more pictures of all the details that turn these boots into the Boba Fett Nike Zoom Force 1.

We know you guys cant get enough of your Nike Zoom Lebron VI colorways. Pictures of these Lebron VI shoes which were designed last summer during July 2008 recently surfaced online. The sneakers were made in honor of the Lebron James ‘World Tour’, which included a stop at the Nike Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. The colorway on the Beaverton Lebron VI includes black, red and orange throughout the sneakers, with the usual tri-color stitching on the mid-sole. The Nike Swoosh has a gradient design which fades from red to orange to yellow. Paying homage to the date Lebron visited the headquarters theres Beaverton, OR emboridered on the tongue in red, with July 17th, 2008 emboridered under it. The insoles also have a custom design which says Lebron World Tour. The Lebron 6 has been hitting retailers in a grip of colorways and player exclusive lately but we dont expect these to be hitting retailers any soon.

Plenty of more detailed pictures follow after the jump. Via: NikeLebro

A brand new Nike Air Force II which was originally set for a March ‘09 release has recently been spotted at a few retailers already. Shown here is the black and varsity maize colorway of the Air Force 2, which uses varsity maize on the frontal and toe box with black on the mid-panels and heel. The design on the black panels give this otherwise simple colorway a nice look without going over the top. Some however may argue that the pattern is a little bit to much. Black and yellow lumberjack style shoelaces are included to match.

Nike Air Huarache Light Burst Quickstrike Pack

Though the Nike Air Huarache Light Burst is not an extremely popular model, these two colorways might change your opinion on the Nike Running sneaker. It is rumored that the two pairs are inspired by the “Bred” and “Cool Grey” Air Jordan XI (11) colorways. The first pair features a tonal grey upper, a semi-transclucent grey outsole, and white accents seen on the midsole, swoosh, and laces. The second pair yields a mesh and patent leather black base accented by a red outsole and a clean white midsole.

Air Jordan I (1) Low Phat - Cement Print

The newest installment of Air Jordan 1 Low Phats will feature one of the defining aspects of Air Jordan sneakers—cement print. Releasing in a black and a white colorway, these two pairs of the AJ1 Low Phat both yield fairly simple uppers accented by cement print on the toecap and on the heel. Though cement print originally made its appearance on the Air Jordan III (3), it has become much more popular over the years and is now an integral part of numerous sneakers. Aside from the cement print, the white pair (seen after the ‘jump’) has a black outsole and red accents while the black pair includes a grey tongue, red accents, and a grey inner lining. Both pairs of the Air Jordan I (1) Low Phat are set to drop on February 28, 2009 for a retail price of $95.
