Jordan True Flight Player Editions

We’ve noticed there hasn’t been a lot the Jordan True Flight in our Kicks On Court series, which can only make you wonder why but today we get a good look at two Jordan True Flight Player Editions.

Ray Allen’s Boston Celtics colorways of any sneaker seem to be in high demand. This black and green version of the True Flight will probably be just the same. Rip Hamilton’s Pistons colorup is a good looking shoe as well. A simple white, with blue and red accents. Only the 32 on the tongue let’s us know these were specific for Rip. Allen’s get his signature nickname printed on the tongue, “Sugar Ray”.

 

 

Nike Air Pegasus ‘89 Fall 2009 Releases

Since this year marks the 20th Anniversary of the Air Pegasus, Nike retroed it earlier this month to many people’s liking. However, it seems Nike is not stopping at the OG colorway in regards to paying tribute to this sneaker.

During the Fall of 2009, Nike will be releasing these two exclusive colorways of the Nike Air Pegasus. The first colorway contains a predominately black upper with blue accents on the midsole, tongue area and heel. It also possesses a few touches of volt on the inner lining as well. The second colorway features a predominately white upper with metallic silver accents throughout the upper. Touches of purple are visible on the tongue area. View both colorways after the jump.

 

Nike 1/2 Cent

Unannounced, the Nike 1/2 Cent released at the House of Hoops in Harlem as well as a few other spots around NYC. Large lineups greeted the released of the Nike 1/2 Cent, but not nearly enough pairs have hit the streets to supply the demand. Just from a quick look on eBay, the selling prices are hitting above $300.

Though hybrid retros have drawn alot of hate in the Jordan world, the Nike 1/2 Cent has received hardly any ill words. The shoes combine each of the Nike Air Penny’s as well as the Nike Air Foamposite One making a mashup of some of Eric Avar’s best work.

Jordan Jumpman Pro iD - Available Now

Nike iD has just added the Jordan Jumpman Pro to their growing collection of sneakers which can now be customized online. The Jordan Jumpman Pro was original released as part of the Team Jordan collection and its great to see Nike iD add a classic like this to the lineup. Kryptonate Nike Foamposite Lite on eBay Was A Fake!!

According to the crew over at KixInTheCity, who are always on top of their game by the way, has just reported that the Kryptonate Nike Foamposite Lite on eBay is a fact and that the winner who bid over $20K just got burned. KATC ran into Nate Robinson himself outside the tapping of the David Lettermen show (which airs tonight) where Nate wore the sneakers and has them in hand. Nate currently owns the only pair to be made so somebody just gotten taken on eBay for a pretty nice 5 digit figure. This is the actual pair Nate wore during the 2009 NBA All Star Slam Dunk Contest.



Unless somebody at Nike tried to pull a fast one by creating a 2nd pair somebody just got taken real bad for a fake pair of sneakers, the biggest burn possibly known in the sneaker game. I hope you didnt pay yet buddy!! Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium Ice Green/Black

With photos of new Dunk models and styles, such as the Skinny Dunk and the Nike Sportswear x Nylon Magazine Dunk High, its easy to forget about the original SB Dunk Mid. However, check out this rare, icy colorway on the Nike SB Dunk Mid Premium.

It features a 100% ice green upper with black accents on the inner lining, swoosh and outsole. The letters, SB also appear in black on the ankle strap. It is complimented with a white midsole as well and tonal shoelaces. Wouldn’t it have been nice to see an icy sole on the icy green colorway?

Nike ‘Wolverine’ Air Force One Customs

Van impresses me once again with the newest custom Air Force Ones he designed. As we have seen from previous designs from Van he puts a lot of heart and sole into each pair he does and this newest design, the Wolverine Air Force Ones defiantly prove Van puts in the time and dedication to truly create something unique and one of a kind.

Van basically wanted to make the Air Forces Ones into a trailer for a Wolverine flick. Since we are dealing with still art here the only way to do that is to design what you would believe would be still photos from specific scenes throughout the movie or movie artwork. For each side, of each sneaker, Van included a scene using very detailed graphics with unbelievable shading on the characters and their surroundings. Not to mention Van threw in some graphics to represent slashes from Wolverines blades and a custom box including a very nice image of Wolverine with his arms spread out. Like we said, Van put his heart and sole into all his sneakers and his final work defiantly goes to show for it.
