Nike 1World Air Force 1 Feride Uslu

For the next Nike 1World Air Force 1 release Nike reached out to Feride Uslu and the brand Uslu Airlines. Feride Uslu is a widely known Berlin based artist and the brand Uslu Airlines is known for their cosmetic grade airbrush system and especially for their high quality nail polish.

For their collaboration with Nike and the Nike 1World Air Force 1 Series Uslu Airlines stayed true to their brand which is inspired by airplanes. For the design they used a soft sheep lining which you would find used for pilot seats in airplane cockpits. The sneakers also feature a green tongue tag which represents the signal color of the tower on all airports and a neon yellow tongue represents the security vests of airport employees. Taking it even further on the Air Force Ones there are white/pink laces which represent a cord on a parachute and the insoles reflect the color spectrum of Uslu as a brand. Finally finishing things up is a 3M Swoosh.

Follow the jump to check out a video that was produced in honor of the Nike 1World Air Force 1 Feride Uslu giving you an idea of where inspiration for these sneakers came from and watch for them to hit Tier Zero Nike retailers on April 11th. Via: HS
